Christmas Day was very special with the Bathgate family. We stayed with Grandad and Nana in their home in Kendal, Cumbria, located in the Lake District. Therese's favorite pressie? Her xylophone!

Christmas in England: Part One

The Christmas adventure began starting in St. Louis to Atlanta, Georgia. The Princess led her entourage; the Lord and Lady of Bathgate Manor, and her au pair, Lady Ellen. From there, she traveled her first international flight to Manchester, England! A huge snow storm had overtaken the country and the Princess was met by her Grandad and Nana with open arms...

Therese's First Hair Cut

Therese had her pretty hair cut for her adventures for Christmas in England. Thank you, Katie, for making our girl look so smart!

Thanksgiving

Therese had a very fun time at Thanksgiving. She wore her very special Cherry Dress! Cousin Cate was in her matching outfit and the two girls had a fun time together!!!!

Kitchen Assistant and Bath Time

Therese is very helpful with putting dishes away. Daddy really appreciates her help! However, her favorite past time in the kitchen is going through the recycle bin.

Therese really enjoys bath time at night. After her full schedule, a bath is very necessary! She is now sitting up all by herself and is very busy playing with her toys.

Halloween Ladybug

Our Therese was a little ladybug this Halloween. She really enjoyed crawling around in her costume and eating Cheerios out of her pumpkin.

Playtime and Pumpkin Patch

Therese loves the jungle gyms and play areas at the local school. Her favorite place is in the tunnel, as you can see by the pictures, with her little buddy there.

She also enjoyed the pumpkin patch. Of course she tried to eat the pumpkin...

More Kentucky Lake

More of our trip at Kentucky Lake. At the Land between the Lakes, they had an area where they took care of wild birds that were found injured or abandoned. It has wildlife everywhere, including an area where you can take your car and drive through the Elk and Bison Prairie. The bison at one point were surrounding the car, just inches away from us!

Kentucky Lake Trip

Therese, Rob and I enjoyed a weekend away at Kentucky Lake. This was another chance to test our traveling skills before the big England trip. We stayed at a lovely individual cottage which looked out onto the sailboats on the lake. We visited the state park called the Land between the Lakes.

Highchair Time

Therese has been busy in her highchair everyday. She is eating Cheerios regularly as well as her biter biscuits. Yum yum!

Tea Room with Family

Miss Therese treated Auntie Ln, Mommy and Marmy to lunch at the Tea Room. The last time Mommy was there, Miss T was in her tummy. Now she got to enjoy it with everyone else!
